Careful when you import something through UPS 수입화물 입항 통관 안내 시 주의점...

요즘은 FedEx, UPS 등의 수입통관 정보는 온라인을 통해 작성된다. 한데... 만약 온라인 작성 및 제출이 원할하지 않을 시 아래 사항을 기재한 후... 관세사에게 이메일 또는 팩스를 통해 전달해야 한다.

If the cargo or amount is not big or huge, you can report or submit your importing details via online or fax, etc. Here is how to do it.

= UPS 수입화물 입항 안내/UPS importing clearance guide

1. 유환(구매) / 무환 여부: 유환=유상, 무환=무상 거래를 의미한다.

1. free or paid: Whether the cargo is free or paid.

2. 사업자등록번호 또는 사업자등록증: 사업장 주소지는 수화물의 도착주소와 다를 경우에만 기입한다. 수령 주소지가 맞다면 공란으로 놔둔다.

​2. business license number or copy of business license certificate: leave the check-box if the cargo's destination address is correct.

3. 세번부호 및 세율 [세번부호를 모르실 경우, 자세한 물품설명(용도 및 사용목적) 기재요망]: FAT 적용 시 필요함으로 세번은 꼭 기재한다.

​3. HS code and tariff rate: If you want to get a FAT benefit, you have to fill out this option.

4. FTA 협정 적용여부 (YES/NO): Yes 시 C/O 파일을 필수로 첨부해야 한다.

​4. Choose whether you want to apply for FAT or not. If you want to apply for FAT, the copy of C/O document must be attached and submitted.

5. 면세 여부/duty free:

A. 샘플면세 요청시 면제사유서 첨부 요청드립니다. (단, 운임포함 USD250이하의 건만 적용됩니다.)

​A. If a cargo is just a sample or less than USD250.00, it can be free-duty. But you have to hand in a relative document proving it.

B. 재반입일 경우: 수출면장과 사유서 첨부 요청드립니다.

​B. If it is a ship-backed item, you have to submit its exporting declaration document.

6. 주소 변경 요청서: BL의 주소와 배송지 주소가 다를 경우만 작성하시어 첨부하여 주시기 바랍니다.(우편번호 반드시 기재 부탁드립니다.)

​6. Address change required document: If the address of the cargo is changed, you have to attach a relative document proving about it. If address is same, leave it as it is.

7. $10,000 이상의 건은 별지 제38호 서식 가격신고서 필수 제출 부탁드립니다.

​7. If the cargo is more than $10,000.00, you have to submit a report.

※ UPS 이용 시 특히 주의 사항: 수출화물의 Exporter's Name, Total Invoice Amount 등의 정보는 "모든 수출 서류"에서 동일해야 한다. UPS에서는 간혹 운송비 절감을 위해 스스로/임의로 자신들이 '인보이스'를 만들고, 그 인보이스에 수출자명을 다르게 기입하거나, 금액을 다르게 기입 하기도 하는데... 그렇게 하면 수입통관 시 (다른 수출서류와 내용이 다름으로) 서류 불일치하게 됨으로 주의해야 한다.

Be careful when you use UPS: The name of the exporter and total invoice amount should be the same on all shipping documents. Do not allow UPS to make another invoice for their convenience.
