What I don't understand that there are lots of Americans who like Japan, Japanese culture, etc. even if I know that there is no a lifelong enemy or friend in the international relationship. Anyway.. it is very clear to me that America are one of 2 things : they are clever or they are stupid.
Many western people seem like not smart when I see that lots of western people like a Japanese rising sun flag. Many western people do not know well about Japan's imperialism.
Japan says that a rising sun has a good meaning and traditional. But that flag was used in many international wars, such as 1894 China vs Japan war, 1904 Russia vs Japan war, 1937 China vs Japan war again, and the Pacific war, world war 2.
