I think Americans cannot impeach D. Trump by doing so in LA now. Why? Their way for protesting is not persuasive to most people.
It is hard to distinguish whether it is a riot or demonstration or protest, or it is just violence and looting. The violent demonstration/riot/looting cannot impeach Trump even if he has breached laws.
If you don't like Trump's ways, you have to suggest another or alternative way how to take care of(or deal with) illegal immigration, instead of violent protesting or looting.
Even if your demands are reasonable, you have to show your demands or requests in a peaceful way. A peaceful demonstration/protesting can bring more people gathered on the streets in other cities.
More people gathering means much stronger demand and request by the people. If it is getting more and more stronger, so that it can be hard to be ignored by the politicians or the public.
Anyway, as I watched what is going on in LA now in the news, the first thing popped up on my head is that the Californians cannot get what they want, and impeach Trump at all by that way.
