흔히 '영국'이라는 나라 혹은 지역을 호칭할 때, 여러 이름(?)으로 불리는 경우가 있는데... 대체 그 차이가 뭔지 함 알아봤다.
위 영상을 보며 생각해 보면... 이 영국이라는 나라도 '아랍지역 국가들'이나 '동아시아 지역 국가들'처럼 기구하고, 파란만장한 역사를 가진 것 같다. 허긴... 지금 현재 존재하는 나라 중... 기구하고 파란만장하지 않은 나라가 어디 있겠나...? 대한민국만 파란만장한 역사를 가진 건 아니다.-.-; 인간사, 세상사는 언제나, 항상 어렵고 복잡하고 난해하다.

지금 현재도 비슷하겠지만… 본래 국가란… 힘이 있으면 여기저기 침략하고, 들쑤시고, 찝쩍이고, 시비걸며 양아치 짓을 하기 마련인가 보다. 현재도 그러한데... 야만의 시대였던 과거에는 오죽했을까. 쩝.
세월이 갈수록, 시대가 변할수록... 그나마 남아있던 정의, 윤리, 도덕, 공정함 등은 현실 세계, 특히 국가간의 사이에서는 사실 거의 '무의미한 것'이 되는 경우가 대부분인 것 같다. 생각해 보면... 개인간의 관계에서도 비슷하기는 하다.
나에게 득이나 이익이 없는데... 남을 돕는다는 건... 어느것이 되었건 쉽지 않은 일이다.
