Get English Writing-03 Road Trip...

I’m not a big fan of road trips, since they involve traveling by car rather than by plane or train or bus, and I don’t enjoy driving.

Taking a road trip in Korea, or in any country with well-developed highway infrastructure, can be enjoyable and convenient. However, not all countries have reliable highways, and safety cannot always be guaranteed.

On a road trip, I’d have to spend long hours behind the wheel, covering long stretches of highway, freeway, or interstate.

That kind of driving feels exhausting and unpleasant to me. Even with plenty of rest stops or truck stops along the way, where I could take short breaks, I still dislike long distance highway driving.

I’m also not particularly drawn to historical, traditional, or archaeological sites. Some people say that reaching a mountain viewpoint or a breath taking spot and taking in the scenery is an unforgettable experience. But for me, climbing to high altitudes is tough.

I often struggle with shortness of breath in those conditions, and it can be severe enough to make someone faint or lose consciousness. Passing out so to speak.

So while the views might be stunning, I don’t enjoy high mountains or road trips. What I do love, though, is food having a distinct flavor to. Rather than being isolated on a mountain, I’d much rather explore a new city-like Seoul or New York-and enjoy unique local flavors while people-watching.
