결론: 비대면 방식이라 구매자(=딜러)와 옥신각신할 필요 없이. 깔끔하고 군더더기 없이 아주 좋음. 앱 사용도 단순하고, 편리하다. 총체적으로 매우 휼륭한 것 같다. 이용방법은 아래와 같다.
1. 헤이딜러 앱을 다운받는다.
2. 헤이딜러 앱에서 판매할 차량 정보 입력(차량에 대한 간단한 이력이 나옴)
3. 제로경매 신청(일반경매는 귀찮고, 번거로울 것 같아서 걍 제로 경매로 신청함. 아래 참조.)
4. 차량의 방문 진단을 위해 날짜 및 시간을 선택하고, 위치 주소 입력.
※ 선택한 날짜의 특정 시간에 정해진 위치로 '진단사/평가사'가 방문하여 차량을 검사/진단/평가 함.
5 '진단사'가 검사/진단/평가한 내용과 차량 상태 사진 등을 헤이딜러에 업로드 하면... 구매자(=딜러)가 물건을 보고 경매가격을 48시간 동안 제시하게 됨.
6. 판매자는 가장 높은 가격을 제시한 딜러에게 판매하면 됨.
※ 경매방식이라 경매에 참여하는 딜러들 끼리는 경매제시가격을 볼 수 없음.
7. 판매자가 판매를 결정하면 필요서류 준비: 신분증 사진, 인감증명서 또는 구매자 정보가 기입된 '본인서명확인서(주민센터에서 발급)'.
※ 중고차 수출딜러에게 판매되면 인감증명서/본인서명확인서 필요없음.
8. 거래가 성사되면 구매자(딜러)가 '탁송'으로 차량을 가져감. 탁송기사가 차량을 가져가기 전에 판매자는 거래대금 입금을 확인하고, 차량 키를 전달하면 됨. 이 때 평가사 방문 출장비/공임비? 3만원 차감됨.
※ 탁송 일자는 판매자가 선택할 수 있음. 판매가 이루어진 다음날부터 탁송 가능함.
9. 위 모든 과정은 총 3일간 이루어짐. 사실상 모든 관정이 끝나게 됨.
10. 이후 명의이전 혹은 말소가 완료되면... 해당 서류가 첨부됨으로 다운받아 제출하면 자동차보험 및 세금 환급 등에 이용하면 됨.
▶제로경매란? 중고차 판매자가 딜러와 직접 흥정하거나 감가 협상을 겪지 않고, 공식 평가사가 차량을 진단한 결과를 기준으로 경매가 진행되는 비대면 거래 방식.
※ 제로경매는 년 2회만 가능. 1회 경매에서 거래 불발 시, 15일 후 2회 경매신청이 가능. 2회 모두 불발되면 일반경래로 해야 함.
▶제로경매와 일반경매 차이점: 헤이딜러 일반경매(셀프경매)와 제로경매의 가장 큰 차이는 ‘딜러 대면 여부’와 ‘현장 감가 발생 가능성’입니다. 일반경매는 딜러가 직접 차량을 확인하면서 가격을 깎을 수 있지만, 제로경매는 평가사가 사전에 진단해 감가가 없고 비대면으로 진행.
최고가를 노리고 직접 딜러와 옥신각신하며 협상, 거래할 의향이 있다면 일반경매.
딜러와의 대면·협상이 부담스럽고 비대면으로 온라인을 통해 간단한 절차를 원한다면 제로경매.
▶만약 판매자가 '사업자'를 보유하고 있다면... 해당 차량이 사업용으로 사용되지 않았음을 증명하기 위해 전년도 종합소득세 신고서를 앱을 통해 업로드 해야 함.
※ 전년도 종합소득세 신고서는 홈텍스> 나의 홈텍스 > 세금신고 > 세금신고내역: '해당 년도 일자'를 설정하고 검색하면 내가 신고했던 모든 세금신고서를 볼 수 있음.

It’s clean, straightforward, and very convenient. The app is simple to use, and overall, I found it excellent. Here’s how the process works: 1. Download the HeyDealer app. 2. Enter the vehicle information you want to sell (basic history appears). 3. Apply for Zero Auction (I chose this instead of the regular auction because it seemed less hassle). 4. Select a date, time, and location for a vehicle inspection. • On the chosen date/time, an official inspector/appraiser visits to check and evaluate the car. 5. The inspector uploads the evaluation details and photos to HeyDealer. Dealers then have 48 hours to submit their bids. 6. The seller simply sells to the dealer offering the highest price. • Dealers cannot see each other’s bids. 7. Once the seller decides to sell, prepare required documents: ID photo, certificate of seal impression or a signature verification certificate (issued at the local office). • If selling to an export dealer, these documents are not required. 8. When the deal is finalized, the buyer (dealer) arranges vehicle transport. Before handing over the keys, the seller confirms payment has been deposited. A 30,000 KRW fee for inspection service is deducted. • The seller can choose the transport date, starting from the day after the sale. 9. The entire process takes about 3 days. 10. After ownership transfer or cancellation is completed, the relevant documents are provided. These can be used to cancel insurance or claim tax refunds. ▶ What is Zero Auction? A non-face-to-face transaction method where the seller doesn’t negotiate directly with dealers. Instead, an official inspector evaluates the car, and the auction proceeds based on that report. • Zero Auction can only be used twice per year. • If the first auction fails, you can reapply after 15 days. • If both attempts fail, you must use the regular auction. ▶ Difference Between Zero Auction and Regular Auction: • Regular Auction (Self-Auction): Dealers inspect the car directly and may negotiate or lower the price. • Zero Auction: Conducted online, based on the inspector’s evaluation, with no face-to-face negotiation or price cutting. • If you want to push for the highest price and don’t mind negotiating directly with dealers → Regular Auction. • If you prefer a simple, non-face-to-face process without negotiation → Zero Auction. ▶ Additional Note for Business Owners: If the seller owns a business, they must upload the previous year’s income tax return via the app to prove the vehicle was not used for business purposes. • You can find this on Hometax > My Hometax > Tax Filing > Filing History.
