Today, I want to talk about weather and advertising.
When we talk to others, we often start the conversation by mentioning the weather. Korea is well known for its four distinct seasons - spring, summer, autumn(or fall), and winter.
In winter, the weather tends to be quite dry. Since I don’t enjoy extreme conditions like hot summers or freezing winters, I sometimes wish Korea had a Mediterranean climate instead.
Unlike the United States, where temperatures are measured in Fahrenheit, we use Celsius in Korea.
During the summer, Korea experiences heavy rainfall from typhoons or hurricanes, though tornadoes are extremely rare.
These typhoons or hurricanes can be especially destructive, particularly in the southern regions of the Korean Peninsula. When a typhoon passes through, it often brings torrential rain, flooding streets and causing significant damage. Flooding is especially common during the monsoon season in Korea.
In short, I don't like hot summer and freezing winter in Korea. I really hate them. But there is nothing I can do. I cannot change the weather so to say. :-)
I also don't like doing advertising for your products or brand because it is very hard to do.
I know that advertising is especially important these days because so many young people use social media.
To effectively promote your products or brand, it’s essential to advertise across multiple social media platforms.
Traditional ads - like highway billboards or printed flyers - are no longer as effective. To capture attention and attract new customers, your commercials need to be creative and memorable.
If your ads aren’t engaging, entertaining, and persuasive, people scrolling through social media will likely skip right past them.
