* 본 ’Get English Writing‘은 그냥 개인적 영어 재미/학습/공부/연습을 목적을 적성하는 나의 ’영어 글쓰기‘이다. 사실 갈수록 영어 사용할 일이 없어져서… 연습’에 더 중점울 두었다. 하여, 문장에 따로 ‘해석이나 부연설명’ 등이 없다라도 양해 바라며, 오탈자, 틀린 부분이 있더라도… 각자 알아서 보시고, 읽으시거나… 읽기싫으면 읽지않고 걍 무시해도 좋다.
Many Koreans probably assume that Americans are sexually open, or even promiscuous. But I don’t think most Koreans really understand what typical Americans are like. From what I’ve seen and experienced, many Americans are actually quite conservative when it comes to politics and relationships.
I believe this perception of Americans being “super open” about sex comes mainly from movies and TV shows. In reality, there are people who wear purity rings as a symbol of their commitment to abstinence, choosing to remain celibate until marriage. These individuals place a high value on chastity and sexual modesty.
In fact, I suspect that Koreans today may be more open-minded about sexual relationships than Americans. I’m not trying to criticize or judge anyone-it’s their personal choice, and as long as it doesn’t harm others, it’s nobody else’s business. Life is short and can be dull, so why not enjoy it?
Anyway, here’s my advice: do whatever you want, as long as you’re an adult and not hurting anyone. Just be ready to take responsibility for the consequences.
