높은 신뢰를 가진 사회, 이 사회는 좋은 의도(계획)를 가진 정부를 신뢰하고 이는 국가 비상사태에 대응을 잘한다.

"South Korea is an urbanized country, with 80 percent of its population living in large cities; the climate is similar to Europe or North America. How do we explain the spectacular discrepancy between South Korea, with five Covid deaths per 100,000 people, and France or the United States, with 400 deaths per 100,000?"

한국은 민주주의 국가로 개방된 사회이며 인구 5천만명에 80%가 도시에서 살며 기후도 유럽과 북아메리카 비슷하다. COVID19로 한국에서는 10만명당 5명이 죽었고 프랑스와 북미에서는 10만명당 4백명이 죽었다. 이 현저한 차이를 어떻게 설명할 수 있는가?

"The South Korean model has been replicated in Taiwan, following the same guidelines and principles, leading to similarly positive results in controlling the virus. In China and Vietnam, the strategy looks similar, but the results cannot be verified independently because, in these two authoritarian countries, it has been implemented by force by the police and the military. No such violence takes place in South Korea or Taiwan, whose models are more legitimate and democratic."

대만은 한국 대응을 적절히 따라해서 좋은 결과를 냈고. 중국 베트남은 공권력을 동원해 통제를했지만 한국은 시민들의 자율적 통제를 통해 이룬 결과로 민주적 케이스를 보여준 나라이다.
